This is an eventful week in our family. Yesterday was Jean and my 30th wedding anniversary, proof again that time really flies by! We celebrated by going to Pasta Grille for dinner. I had lasagna, Jean had chicken parmigiana, and Ceil had eggplant parmigiana. Then we went to the 3-D Pixar movie Up, which was cute. We all liked it.

Tonight Jean’s brother’s family starts arriving for the wedding. They are scattered all across the country though, so her sister-in-law Susan is arriving at Newark Airport from Texas at 5:00pm, then her nephew Jesse is arriving from Florida at 7:00pm. Tomorrow her brother Peter and his older son Gabe are driving from South Carolina.

Tomorrow night is the Rehearsal Dinner, which 27 people will be attending at a really nice Italian restaurant. We are having a 4 course meal which should be exceptional.

Then, of course, Friday is the wedding itself. 120 people are attending the reception, so it should be a really enjoyable–if busy–day. I’ll tell you a bit about it this weekend.
