Things have finally calmed down here, with all our houseguests gone home (except Ceil who is staying through the weekend). Finally we have started doing some of our summer chores, including my researching the book I should have started working on 2 weeks ago. Of course, after only a few days of work we are leaving for a week of camping with Alan and Denise, although we have not decided yet where to go.

Tonight is our traditional visit to the Chinese buffet when Ceil visits, which is always enjoyable, although after last weekend we certainly do not need a big meal like that! ☺

Recently I got my 17th book in the mail through Paperback Swap, with one more to go. I have read 3 of them so far, and hope to get through another half-dozen this summer, my prime reading season. I am starting Stephen Lawhead's Byzantium next.
