So far I have had so many time-consuming things to do this vacation that I have done virtually no writing or research at all! Between the wedding, going to Ceil’s house for a weekend, visits from friends, going to the YMCA and the pool, updating my journal/blog regularly, cooking, and–of course!–reading, I have enjoyed the past three weeks a lot, but they have been generally unproductive weeks.

The next week will not be any better since Jean and I are taking Ceil home tomorrow, then staying overnight at her house before leaving Sunday for a campground at Lake George. Monday Alan and Denise will join us there for the remainder of the week. That should be fun, although I will have an underlying guilt at not accomplishing anything while I am there. So it goes...
