Ah, the joys of being home an entire week and actually getting things done! I can feel my blood pressure decreasing already. ☺

Currently reading: I have heard so many good things about Iain M. Banks’ fiction, both his sf and his non-sf, so I have decided to read one of his Culture novels, Look to Windward. So far it is very good, combining culture-building with a deft mystery (not historical, but not a routine crime mystery either) and strong characterization.

Currently listening: My favorite radio station is WNTI-FM out of Centenary College. Being a non-commercial station, it has no restrictive playlist, but instead plays music from all across the rock spectrum, artists and songs you would never hear on the commercial stations. Artists such as Richard Thompson, Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Steve Forbert are all regulars there, as am I as a listener.
