Exams are always stressful because of the grading that needs to be done in a limited amount of time, as well as all the other departmental chores I have to finish. Still I was thrilled to be interrupted yesterday by visits from Agnes and Dennis, with whom I chatted for an hour. Then I left school early for the annual Math Department end-of-the-year barbecue at our house, where we all had a good time eating and chatting. Briane, Diana and I all wore the Sabella tee shirts, so they took a picture of the three of us which they texted to Megan who was at an airport flying to a wedding and could not be at the barbecue.
I have seen many pictures from the students’ retirement party for me, some I’ve downloaded from Pooja’s FB page, and others in a really nice photo album Jessica gave me as a gift. I think I’ve gathered enough great memories the past week to last me the rest of my life (which they will probably need to do, but that’s another entry, haha).

where do I get my hands on one of those "Sabella" t-shirts? =)
Congrats again on your retirement and i'm sure you have touched the lives of hundreds (probably thousands...shows how good my math is) of students in your career!
