Yesterday was a big eating day. At school I was invited to the cooking class’s pie party by my student Vanessa, which was certainly tasty (and I was flattered that she invited me), then last night we went to the Chinese Buffet with Alan & Denise. Afterwards we sat and chatted for several hours, including discussing hi-lo campers, since we are thinking about upgrading from a popup so we can go on longer camping trips after our retirement.

The 1st marking period has ended at school, so I have a ton of work to do this weekend, including grading 3 tests and finalizing grades. In addition, this weekend is the mailing deadline for FAPA, of which I am OE, so I will be very busy for three days. I had to take a Personal Day Monday in order to finish the mailing.

Currently listening: Sirius online radio. I really enjoy listening to Sirius, which I share with Andy, and along with downloaded music onto my Ipod, I have cut back my cd buying quite a bit. That’s all right, since I’m more interested in listening to a variety of music than hearing the same cd’s repeatedly.
