It was really nice chatting with Jessica, Kevin, Alex, Nicole and Rachel after school today. It is hard to believe that I am actually giving up my wonderful students at the end of this year, but it is really time for me to devote to the other side of my life, the writing side.

Tomorrow is a major testing day, the last of the 1st marking period, so I hope everybody is prepared for it. One thing I will not miss is grading tests, perhaps the most time-consuming and disagreeable part of teaching, at least for me, since I have all good classes without any discipline problems. I’m sure other teachers find classroom management much more onerous.
