While I love blogging, and keeping up with friends on Facebook, and even posting my monthly magazine online, I really do not see any useful purpose in Twitter. I cannot think of a single person I know, either personally or through their fame, who is so fascinating that I wish to keep up with their activities on an hourly or even continuous basis. Even myself. What would I twitter about anyway?
Here I am in the front of my classroom watching some jerk throwing spitballs across the back of the room. Maybe I’d better stop twittering and deal with him.
I’m walking down the halls which are crowded with kids who should be in class learning, but instead are just wandering aimlessly. I wonder if this is a forecast for the rest of their lives?
I’m driving on Route 80 watching dimwits drive with one hand while their other hand is glued to the cellphone attached to their ear. How the heck can they possibly be concentrating on the road that way?
No, thanks, I’ll pass.

haha. first of all, you're over the 140-character limit ;)
secondly, just because Twitter is made for of-the-moment updates about your life doesn't mean you have to use it that way (or that often :)). write a story one sentence at a time. post problems or interesting links. think outside the box.
also, if you're serious about April 1st: congrats!
Thud....
I want a clear answer about that April 1st post.
