I have opinions on lots of things. Here are just a few of them! ☺

There are two main reasons I don’t like watching sports on tv. One is that it is too distracting when I am trying to read. The other is that so many sportscasters are know-it-alls who drone on and on and on about their own opinions which they treat as inarguable facts rather than just describing the damned game being played.

If I were A-Rod, I would never watch sports on tv or read the sports news either online or in the newspaper, because even when he is injured they often treat him like he is the only person who matters in sports. I wonder if he realizes he made a mistake coming to New York where he could be at the center of the sportscasting industry?

I have little respect for those people who complain about every attempt the governor makes to solve the state’s fiscal crisis: how dare he consider cutting anything which might have the slightest impact on them? Then they complain nonstop about what an ineffective governor he is, when in fact he is trying to run a selfish state while hindered by an incompetent legislature.

Gee, you think maybe the naysayers haven’t given President Obama a chance to overturn all the disastrous policies of the past eight years without attacking him already? Rush Limbaugh’s comment that he was hoping Obama would fail pretty much describes the attitudes of many sour people I know.

I am tired of people who have no idea what teaching is really like complaining about how easy teachers have it. The fact that four people in my school who left industry for teaching all complain that they have never worked harder in their lives should indicate something!
