Has our temperature gone over 30o this entire month? This is one of the coldest winters in several years, as well as one of the snowier ones. Today school is closed for the second time, and Jean and I have missed two other days because we live on top of a mountain 25 miles further inland from school.

I do not envy people living north in climates where it is really cold and snowy! I’m beginning to understand why so many people retire to southern states such as Florida.

At least this day off will give me some time to catch up on writing a multiple choice mid-term for my Honors Algebra 2 classes and grading the tests I gave them classes yesterday. Other than that, and possibly shoveling, it should be a relaxing day.
