The first five-day week of school was tiring, but we survived! Thankfully, we have nothing scheduled for this weekend, so I plan to catch up on chores and reading.

Currently reading: I’ve been reading Robert Silverberg’s career-spanning collection Phases of The Moon, which is outstanding, but when I reached “Nightwings,” one of my very favorite stories ever, I decided to take a side trip this weekend and read the entire fix-up novel which contains that novella and its two sequels. This is only my third time reading the book in forty years, and it is still spectacular.
