*sigh* Sometimes no matter how much time and energy you devote to helping other people, no matter how stressed you get personally over other people’s problems, no matter how much your own work suffers because you put it aside when others need you, you still end up being treated badly by those same people for whom you were always there whenever they needed you. My wife has suggested that I should lock my office door and just do my work, but I have been unable to do that when others need me. Today I really feel like locking my door though!
