My workload has been pretty light the past few days, partly because I am reviewing in both AP Calculus and AP Statistics, so I have had a lot less schoolwork needing to be done at home. As a result, I’ve gotten some of my own work done, including final-editing and printing Wondrous Stories and editing a chapter of the Tibet book, my first since summer ended.
I’ve been reading David Hartwell’s anthology The Ascent of Wonder, which is supposedly devoted to “hard” science fiction, but his definition is so broad that some of the stories barely have any science at all, which is fine with me. (Sorry for the book talk, Icy! ☺)
Sometimes it is amazing how quickly time flies! There is slightly more than one marking period left in this school year, and three months from now Jean, Mark and I will be in Italy for Fei Fei and Silvio’s wedding. The final arrangements for the post-wedding tour of Italy have been made, so soon I will contact our travel agent in hopes that she can make room reservations for us in Rome, Florence, and Venice. I hope three months is not too late to find available space.
