We ordered a new A-liner camper in late May, and we were assured it would arrive at the dealer in 5-6 weeks. Well, it has been 7 weeks and now they say it should arrive either Monday or Tuesday. We have already made camping reservations for next Thursday–with the first night prepaid–so we will be very displeased if the camper does not arrive in time. We can use the old camper (which we are trading in for the new one), but the purpose of this trip is to test out the new camper for any flaws. Plus, who wants to spend 30-35 minutes setting up when the new one takes 3-5 minutes, plus has some amenities the old one does not have? *sigh*

My ancient Ipod Shuffle is basically dead. Now I need to decide do I want to spend several hundred dollars for an Ipod Touch which will make it easier for me to stay in touch while on vacation. I do not like to spend so much money on something which is basically a luxury, since I take my laptop on vacations, so I do not really need the Ipod Touch. Maybe that’s a difference between me and most people: I am way too practical, lol.

Is it my imagination, or are more people concerned with the World Cup championship game than whether the United States government defaults?
