A busy but productive weekend so far. I’ve posted the October issue of VoP and have begun work on the November issue. I’ve finished all my school work and gone with Jean to the YMCA, the farm store, the chiropractor (since my back has been bothering me since the snowstorm), Applebee’s, Michael’s (craft store), Petco, Home Depot and B.J.’s. *whew*
This afternoon Jean and I had planned to go to the Sculpture Garden in Princeton, but rainy weather has altered that plan. Instead we will go shopping in Flemington, then meet Mark & Kate and Fei Fei & Silvio at the All-Star Chinese Buffet, which is definitely the best buffet I have eaten at in the state (as proven by the facts that it is mostly frequented by Chinese people).
Currently listening: I have been astounded at how good King Crimson’s live album Cirkus is. As a lover of progressive rock, I cannot believe I missed them for the past 30 years. I am definitely planning to buy more of their music real-soon-now.
Currently reading: Anybody who enjoys humor combined with science fiction should definitely read Robert Sheckley. His book Dimensions of Sheckley contains 4 of his finest novels, plus the novella “Minotaur Maze,” which I am reading now, having finished the novels previously. Fun stuff.
