This has been a crazy week work-wise, and the weekend does not loom as much better. I thought I would list a few of the things I have been doing these days (in hopes that at least one or two people will feel sympathy for me, haha):

▸ Monday night was our monthly Target Teach seminar;
▸ Tuesday night was a liaison meeting between the officers of the teachers’ association (I am vice-president) and the Board of Education;
▸ Wednesday night I spent a long time writing recommendation letters for student applications for Governor’s School. Only 2 students of the 9 have picked them up yet (which, if I had known, I could have written them this weekend instead ☹);
▸ Thursday night I worked on a package for a Teacher-of-the-Year nomination for a fellow teacher;
▸ I gave tests Thursday and Friday to Honors Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 which I am grading;
▸ I collected a Statistics activity Friday, which also needs grading;
▸ I need to write Calculus and Statistics tests this weekend;
▸ I have more college recommendations to write;
▸ I need to write thank-you notes and Christmas cards this weekend;
▸ I need to work on my mother’s probate, which is more time-consuming than I anticipated;
▸ Sometime this weekend we need to buy a Christmas tree!!!

*sigh* I can really use a vacation. ☺
