No matter how long I’ve been teaching, or how much people respect me, there are still times when I feel totally incompetent, that I spent a period confusing students more than enlightening them. This afternoon in Statistics was one of those times. *sigh*

Our new governor has only been in office two months, but already he is doing whatever he can to screw the state’s school systems, while blaming teachers for the legislature’s failure to make its legally-requirement payments into the state pension fund for the past ten years. What is the best word to describe people who deliberately cheat for a decade, then place the blame on the victims of that cheating? Politicians is much too polite a word for them.
