If you could have the talents of any three people in totally different fields, who would those people be? I thought that was an interesting questions, so I tried to come up with valid answers for it.

My first wish has always been to be an outstanding writer–which I unabashedly admit I have not achieved to the level I always aspired–so my first choice would be a writer of fiction. There are several outstanding writers I enjoy reading, but perhaps the one whose talents I admire the most is Roger Zelazny.

I really love music, mostly listening to it, but I have no qualms about singing along or even struggling to play along on the guitar. So I would enjoy being a talented singer/guitarist, and several immediately come to mind. Either Chris de Burgh or Richard Thompson would be my first choice to share their talent.

I also would like to be an artist, mostly sketching illustrations. I took a course about a dozen years ago, but I have never really had the time to develop the talent sufficiently. So if I could suddenly have the talent without the prerequisite work, I would probably want the talent of one of the great comic artists such as Neal Adams.

Any other dreamers out there?
