*sigh* Just when you think things are going really well, politics rears its ugly head and life gets stressful again. Why can’t people do their darned jobs like professionals instead of letting every move they make either be a power play or determined by a personal agenda?

It’s about a year before the presidential election, and quite frankly I do not yet see any of the candidates displaying the combination of qualities I prefer in my president: intelligence, passion for making this the best damned country possible, honesty in their positions rather than pandering to every voting block and, perhaps out of fear of perpetuating what happened the past seven years, a belief in government “by the people and for the people.” Wouldn’t that be a welcome change?

Don’t email me any extremist political propaganda, either left-wing or right-wing. I’d rather get the facts and make up my own mind instead of being brainwashed by narrow-minded people. Yeah, you know who you are.
