So far school has gone fairly well, although I am busier than I expected teaching 5 different courses. At least my students seem nice, which is probably the most important part of teaching. Not only does it make my classes easier to handle, but it motivates me to do an even better job than otherwise (if that is possible, since I am pretty hard on myself trying to be as good as possible in everything).

Now that the Mets have clinched their division, and the Yankees are on the verge of doing so, we can all look forward to a possible Yankees-Mets World Series again. The last one was in 2000 when the Yankees were in the midst of their four-championship- in-five-years dynasty, so the Mets really had no chance. Of course there is no guarantee both teams will win their respective pennants this year, since they both need to win two rounds of the playoffs first.
