I have been pretty busy lately (unusual, huh?). I spent Saturday at a regional science fiction convention in the Meadowlands, which was pretty nice. I spent an hour talking to a member of my magazine’s mailing list whom I had never met before, and I bought a novel I have been anxious to read for several months (Sean Stewart’s contemporary fantasy Perfect Circle, if anybody is interested).

Sunday I devoted to schoolwork, then Monday I was at school until 9:00 for our monthly Target Teach seminar. Today I got home about 6:15 due to a Representative Council meeting. I gave three tests today which I am anxious to grade by Thursday so that I will not have them hanging over my head during the four-day Easter weekend. In fact, I hope to have no schoolwork this weekend, except the inevitable Statistics, so that I can devote the weekend to working on my magazine and perhaps doing a bit of fiction writing. That would be sooooooooo nice.

Jean picked up her aunt at the airport today for a two-week Easter visit. I can only hope that I am half as spry and sharp when I am 84 years old!
