CURRENTLY READING: DIMENSION OF MIRACLES, by Robert Sheckley. Sheckley fluidly combines sharp satire, sophisticated humor, and fast-paced plotting in a novel that Mike Resnick, in his introduction to the Sheckley omnibus DIMENSIONS OF SHECKLEY, calls one of the five greatest sf novels ever. He's not too far wrong in that claim.

CURRENTLY LISTENING: WE SOLD OUR SOUL FOR ROCK 'N' ROLL, a "greatest hits" collection by the original Black Sabbath when their lead singer was somebody named John Osbourne ("Ozzie" to his friends).
