It’s soooo nice to be on Spring Break, with delusions of finishing so many chores. You’ll see by the tone of my next blog how successful I’ve been at it so far.

I’ve been in contact with several former students the past few days, conversations which I have enjoyed a lot:

> Denise, who just got accepted into an armed forces program to train as a doctor in the Air Force. Go Captain Denise!

> Veda and her husband Kai (formerly Joe, but *hey* if he wants a nom de plume who am I not to give him one? ☺) came for dinner Saturday night and we all had an absolutely wonderful time.

> Bei, who is still having problems with her Student Status. Stupid Immigration Department!

I plan to send email to several other former students this week and, hopefully, hear from a few of them as well. One of the side effects of the Cyber Age is that I am able to sit on my computer and still conduct my social life, without ever leaving my office. Ain’t progress great?
