A few questions I’ve been wondering about...

• Why is it that bullying is illegal in this state except for the governor, who can bully anybody he wishes in public?

• Why is our governor so popular across the country when he is a hypocrite who twists the facts to suit his own needs?

• Is it my imagination, or is the common ingredient in Tea Party candidates ignorance?

• How will the state ever solve its budgetary crisis when the first priority of most people is protecting their own interests at the expense of everybody else?

• Why do so many people believe that everybody “sharing the pain” of balancing the state’s budget requires teachers to give up an additional $5,000-$7,000 each while millionaires should not contribute another penny?

• Does anybody still doubt that most people’s actions are motivated primarily [solely?] by self-interest?

• Is there any hope for the future when compromise does not seem to exist at all?

• Does anybody else fear that the Right Wing’s desire to strengthen the fiscal situation of the rich at the expense of the middle class will eventually turn us into a Third World country?

• Is the fact that education is so little-valued in this country the reason why neither politicians nor the general public have learned anything from history that might actually save this country’s future?

• Doesn’t it seem as if the planet itself has turned against us, with polar icecaps melting, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis? And do you blame it?
