This has been one of the coldest and snowiest Decembers ever across much of the country. Fortunately, we’ve missed the snow so far, although it has certainly been cold here. Thank heavens we do not need to go out early in the morning and drive 25 miles anymore!
I have a January 14th deadline for two articles I am writing for Salem Press, but I am having more difficulty with those articles than I anticipated, so although I have been working on them nearly every day, I am not positive I will be able to complete them on time. To make matters worse, the past three days have been so busy with various chores, many related to preparing for Christmas, that I have done virtually no work on them at all. I did not believe I could be stressed during retirement, but I certainly am right now!
But my “daughter” is in NJ this week, and although she’s been at Princeton the past two days, in a few hours she will be back here where she will stay for two more days, so I will not mind getting no work done temporarily. Our visits have been too infrequent since she moved to the west coast a few years ago.
