Last night was the Indian Culture Club Dhamaka dance, and it went very well. A decent number of kids showed up, and there was lots of dancing–which always means they are having a good time. Admittedly it was boring sitting alone for four hours, but the kids had fun and I got home before midnight, so it was a worthwhile evening.

I have a relatively easy weekend planned, mostly grading a Statistics test and collating most of the current issue of VoP. I have gotten impatient with the magazine’s semi-annual frequency and have decided to return it to quarterly publication. That is a lot more work, mostly copying and collating, but VoP is my main outlet for both nonfiction and socialization in the sf community, so I hope I can handle it.
