Currently reading: THE DRAGON WAITING, John M. Ford's alternate history of Richard III (perhaps the most unfairly-mailigned king in British history). There is lots of political intrigue (common for that era), fascinating historical scenery, and even a touch of fantasy (a few wizards and vampires, although Ford treats vampirism as a disease rather than as supernatural beings). Good stuff.

Currently listening: THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, by Van Morrison, a double cd of unreleased music, some of it as good as what actually made it onto his albums. Recommended for Morrison fans.
